Told straight
Straight face, plain words
Bone DryYour true story, told deadpan.
The flattest tellers never signal the joke. No "you won't believe this", no exclamation marks, no laughing first - just the facts, said as if they were ordinary, and the odd one saved for last. Paste a story you want to tell and see how wet it reads.

One run finds the turn - the detail the story is really about - says what to do with each giveaway, retells the story flat with the turn in the last line, and adds two or three delivery notes for how you will tell it. The page re-checks the retelling against your story.

How the page reads a story
A giveaway is anything that tells people a story is funny before the story has earned it. The page looks for seven kinds: exclamation marks, laugh tags (lol, haha, so funny), emoji, intensifiers (literally, honestly, insanely), set-up tells (you won't believe, wait for it), joke explainers (get it, ironically, just kidding) and shouted words in capitals.
The count alone sets the reading: none is bone dry, one to three is damp, four or more is soaked. The needle shows the same thing as "relative humour" - a joke on relative humidity, not a measurement of how funny anything is.
The page only finds words; it cannot tell a sign you are quoting from a word you are shouting, so read the list with that in mind. This is a playful tool, not professional advice.
